This obvious ride through the Chartreuse takes you around the bottom of the Chartreuse massif towards Chambery before turning onto the Col du Granier, over the Col du Cucheron. You then have the choice of climbing the Col du Coq or the Col du Porte for the final descent back to the city but on this route, I've included the Col du Porte.
