Col de l'Allimas (1352m)

The Col de l'Allimas is located in the south-east of the Vercors. The climb gives the perfect opportunity to see the unique Mont Aiguille, a mountain that would look more at home in the Dolomites.

South - Le Monestier de Clermont (810m), 16km, D605m

Col de la Machine (1011m)

One of the most impressive roads in the Vercors. There are views of the plain towards Lyon and equally stunning views down into the gorge of the Combe Laval. The Michelin Guide to the Alps gives this road three stars, a must see.

Col de Romeyere (1074m)

From the north, a quiet climb that has everything you would want from a climb. Imposing cliffs with an impressive waterfall and views of the plain towards Lyon. The coup de grace is climbing on a road cut into the rockface with takes you above the waterfall and into the Vercors massif.

From the south the climb from this side takes you up the impressive Gorge de la Bourne and turns off at the Balme de Rencurel. There is a route option to take you over the Col du Mont Noir (1420m).
